Funny Ideas on How to Wrap a Concert Tickets

Or put the big gift in the stocking and wrap the normal stocking stuffers and put them under the tree.

I like the idea of putting the tickets in the stocking and wrap the stocking stuffers. If you wrap each stocking stuffer, it'll seem like they're getting more presents than they actually are. :)

Wrap it in an empty box from a food item. (I'm giving a gift card in a Slim Jims canister this year.)

My mom is giving the kids cash and my sister got something off Pinterest. She taped the dollar bills together and is putting it on a toilet paper roll somehow.

You could always wrap tickets with something associated with the event. If the tickets are to a sporting event you could find something with the team logo, if it us to a concert you could wrap with a tour t-shirt or a cd.

I've done something like this in the past. The year the family got Lion King tickets, I wrapped a stuffed Simba, he was holding the tickets.

Get a big box with flaps on top. Get a Mylar balloon filled with helium and tied with a long ribbon string. Put the tickets or money in an envelope, punch a hole in the envelope and tie to the end of the ribbon (or you can just tape or staple it to the ribbon.) Put the balloon in the box and wrap it. When the person opens the box, the balloon will float up and the envelope will be dangling in front of them. (Just don't open outdoors.)

We did this once with a special gift and made it very memorable and fun.

Last year we got the boys tickets to see the Boston Celtics. One tradition in our house is they each get to open one gift on Christmas Eve. Of course, it's always a new pair of PJs or, now that they're older, PJ pants. They always wear them to bed that night. I found Celtics ones for each of them. I tucked the tickets inside them and wrapped them as usual.

On Christmas Eve I gave them each the box and got the usual "Gee, wonder what this is". They opened the box, peeked inside, said thank you, and put them aside. It wasn't until later that night when they went to change into the new PJs before bed that they found the tickets tucked inside. I got to hear the "Hey, look! Wow!" coming from their bedroom. It was a lot of fun!

I used to wrap my brother's gift (always gift certificates to a music store) in tampon boxes, just to watch his face. Another time (after the tampon thing got boring/I grew past it) I got three cardboard cores from wrapping paper and taped them together. Filled it half with Smarties, threw the certificate in there and filled the other half with more Smarties.

I gave my dad a gift card to Logan's one year - put it in a bucket with a bunch of peanuts. For baseball tickets, you could get some cracker jack, stick the ticket inside (in a snack baggie) and then reglue the top. For basketball or football, you could buy a pom pom of that color and stick the ticket in it. Or maybe you could get a big box and tape the ticket to the inside top of it, so when they open it they don't see anything at first.

SO many great ideas! Thank you friends! I am definitely going to do SOMETHING fun to get these tickets wrapped. Many of my gifts this Christmas are "paper" (gift subscription services, concert tickets, etc) so I've already used up many of my ideas! The DSIL who is getting a BirchBox subscription is getting an oatmeal container wrapped in paper that looks like birch bark, tied with twine and a spray of red berries. DBIL and Dnephew are getting a "men's night out" with tix to a comedien and a dinner gc .... I wrapped the tickets around candy bars and tied them up in a bundle with the gift card and it is all in a large oatmeal canister that I spray painted red and made to look like Santa's belly (black belt with a silver buckle). I still have three "seed of the month club" subscriptions and a Dollar Shave Club subscription to wrap creatively too! Yup.... .I'm officially behind schedule!.............P

I just wrapped my dh's dollar shave club in the box it came in, but for the seeds, you could do a nalgene bottle filled with sunflower seeds and the ticket inside.
